Rolling Out the Dough

I love to create all types of goodies, from artistically decorated cakes to bread.  I am passionate about using pure, simple ingredients.  I bake from scratch, and use organic and local ingredients whenever possible.

One of my current baking obsessions is sourdough.  I created a sourdough starter a little over a year ago.  So far, it’s thriving and has finally developed a good sour taste.  I have experimented with all types of sourdough goodies, from bread to pizza to sweets.

If you’ve attempted sourdough, you know that it’s one of those projects that sounds simple but becomes amazingly complex.  In fact, I have yet to perfect a recipe for simple sourdough bread (although most of my attempts have still been tasty).  As I experiment with new sourdough recipes, I’ll share my experiences.
