		<description>Sourdough starter is pretty forgiving, as long as you don&#039;t forget about it for too long.  Feed it on a regular basis - once a day if it&#039;s at room temp, or once a week if it&#039;s in the fridge.  I use a 1:1 ratio of whole wheat flour and water.  I find that creating the starter is the easy part, but getting the hang of baking with it is a bit tricky!  I think you should try it, it&#039;s definitely addicting!</description>
